They have pending patents on thsi technology. it's not an ETH fork like wan. they have to protect it. When projects like WAN openly admit to stealing the best solution as their strategy you have to be careful with releasing such key code.
Lets assume patents were filed in April. Its been in testing and bug hunting since then. Patents pend for an entire year internationally. Now if he releases this code straight away, it becomes easy as fuck for a shady group to fake and make it look like they already created this idea themselves before FSN did. falsify some old code. this is the nature of blockchain.

The pending part of the patent means someone else has one year exactly to come and say "look, i did thsi first! i have evidence". If he hangs on till late august to release this code, that makes it exponentially harder to falsify making the code before FSN did. the later the better. obviously, they are playing it safe. and a few short months after april is enough to PROTECT YOUR FUCKING INVESTMENT YOU BLEEDING RETARD.
