i want to start a computer/phone repair business at home but nobody wants to pay the hourly rate for it here. they all just go to geek squad or best buy or google their issues. if all else fails i'll get my parents to help out and then end my lease. then i move back in

The term is terminated. Layoffs go to employees they can't afford and laid off employees qualify for monthly employment aid

File for unemployment, you can still get it even for being fired for poor performance.

You're forgetting how much of a pain in the ass it can be to live with your family and how much you hated telling girls that you did. Grass is always greener.

Joke's on you, it's just as expensive as renting.

>property tax is just rent paid to government
>maintenance
>replace appliances every few years when they break
>replace the roof every 20 years costing tens of thousands
>paint the house every year costing thousands
>mow the grass every other week wasting hours of your time

It's ok bro.

I was laid off so they could grab someone with more experience back in May.

Use linkedin job search that's how I got my job offer.

Economy is also good so it shouldn't be so hard. Just be sure to understand how to craft why you were fired.

Also know that most businesses will never know you were fired unless you tell them. HR generally only gives dates and titles when asking if you ever worked there (so don't like about time or what you were doing).

GL anon, you'll make it just keep it cheap for now.

Get another job. Tenants have TONS of rights. You should look them up. Just because your landlord says you have to leave because you arent paying rent doesnt mean you have to. You will be a scumbag for it but just saying. Get another job bro.

Never buy a house when you are actually decent at managing other assets or at least buy a house that you can rent out to multiple people while making passive income and live in one of the units.

It doesn't leave you in debt, gives you tons of rights and frees up most of your income for other investments.
