They're doing background checks on them, and if the escorts have facebook, twitter, social media accounts. etc, it allows additional references to see if they're legit. Clients (who use whores) can optionally add social media and ID. This is to prove they're not rapists etc. Have you even read the whitepaper? That's half the selling point, whores will use the app because they can guarantee good clients.

Oh and the verge partnership is a complete shitshow. It actually lends more legitimacy to verge than it does pinkdate, and that's fucking saying something as pinkdate is an anonymous startup that could well exit scam. I think it's cause one of the devs (brad?) is really wary of monero for some reason, you can see it in his reddit history.

There's no ledger. Pinkdate tokens only function as equity in the company for the purposes of paying dividends, you don't pay the hookers with erc20 tokens. Crypto enables the app to be supranational, effectively in no jurisdiction. No way could they have got mainstream funding for this without crypto.

There was a pre-ico, then the actual ICO was delayed, now it's been split into two parts. The markets been fucked since january, circumstances aren't ideal and they had money to be getting on with. There's like 3 devs and a whore they hired to be the public face of the company. Their biggest operating expenses would be the ICO marketing and the events they're throwing to get whores to sign up. Why go to all that effort hosting events just to exit scam?

I'm not saying with absolute certainty it's legit. I'm just saying since I fronted the money, I've been less worried. Arguably the only red flag are the token burns they've been generous with - They burned unsold pre-ico tokens, burned some extra at one point (I think), and decided to burn 6m extra when they split the ICO in two. This is all great for the investor (larger dividends) so it made me wary.

So again it is just being used as a payment method, what so special about it? Even shitjew xoin like xrp got more than that.
