10080270 No.10080270 [Reply] [Original]

I'll start:
-OMG
-NKN
-JNT
-NEX

These are the projects I'm invested in that I think will survive the shitcoin apocalypse.

Please suggest others with a brief description of why it deserves to survive.

Example of an ideal post:

-LINK
-Oracles are required for everything, LINK will connect external data to blockchains

Pajeets / Larpers / Teens please stay away, I'm looking for real discussion.

NEX (once the ico is done). Solid team, solid project management, good tech. It is run like a legit business (no announcements of announcements, no "official" telegram filled with pajeets and moonfags). Solid tech that solves many issues that current DEXs are facing. Also a FIAT gateway in the pipeline. DYOR

OMG: Not much to say here, collaboration with ETH, solid idea, if this succeeds it will be revolutionary.

NKN:
-Share unused bandwidth on this platform
-People can use data by paying NKN
-No need to have an ISP, data is effectively anonymous
-People can be relayer nodes, provide their bandwidth to relay other peoples data and receive NKN rewards
-New consensus method, Proof of Relay, very secure, fast, and scalable
-Team is the epitome of professional and smart, no cash grab, no china hustle, no announcement of announcements
-Code since 2016/2017, test net with example of an app running off the test net were flawlessly executed

JNT:
-Tokenization of assets (many kinds, equities, options, assets, ect ect)
-Implement it's own blockchain one day with smart contracts and a DAO to maintain the market cap of all tokenized assets
-Compliant with financial institutions to allow for individuals to bring their expensive regulated assets on-chain and off-chain very rapidly

NEX:
-See guy couple posts up
-Support for ERC20 down the line
-Fiat gateways
-Payment platform like REQ
-Super fast Txs with advanced market orders and stop losses

ICX seems gooky and classic example of the China Hustle. Are people using it to build actual Dapps?

Nice dubs.
Ark's fairly easy to understand. Its the team, simplicity and execution thats killer. Deployable interoperable chains with modular structures and plugins, apis, sdks galore.

You seem biased. In any case, I've been looking into XRP lately.

Could you tell me why you choose XRP or XLM?

I want to invest in one of the two but don't know which is better.

XLM seems to expand on XRP and is more decentralized. However, XRP has company backing and have gotten in touch with banks, ect.

It's very good sir. ELA hosted a talk at the Omaha dinner recently, with Buffet and Bezo in attendance. Their partners are highly valued and influential, SIAC, Huawei, Reactor gaming, Panda energy - theres a lot more. Angel investors featuring Foxconn and indirectly the chinese gov.

BUZZ is a project to install a sensor device in bee hives that will reward in BUZZ the bee hives kept in perfect condition.

PRIX is a platform to share your bandwidth while you're not using it and be rewarded in PRIX. You just download an app and when your computer detects that you're not using it it makes your bandwith available. Since you're already paying for it I guess you might as well re-sell it, right?

>> No.10080970

This nkn shilling is such nonsense. Your literally thinking that a p2p Network that pays you to rent your hardware is worth investing in.

If you think this is a good idea, you should know this is a FEATURE of Elastos, not even the main draw. Carrier nodes are rewarded for their usage in the P2P network that was built from scratch and goes alpha in August. This is literally a small part of this massive project so people don't talk about it. Where as NKN this is literally the only thing it does, and is no where near completion.

TL;DR paid p2p network is a good idea, and ELA does it better and is closer to finish.

Wtf is wrong with you nkn pajeets

>> No.10081058

>>10080557
Don't forget it also incorporates the paid p2p network NKN is touting as a feature instead of making a worthless token for that one use.

PART1 - Full red pill here
It's one of the best use cases for blockchain, something as simple as voting and polling. What interests me more is the economic model. Clearpoll is actually 2 projects put together under 1 token.

One of them is Clearify:
It allows ICOs to verify and then add official contribution addresses to their secure profile. This lets contributors be 100% certain they are contributing to the correct address – not to a scammer.
As well as verifying ICOs, they are also developing a REST API to integrate Clearify into existing cryptocurrency payment systems, for fully automated address verification.
They take a % from the ICO sale, and 50% of the revenue is used to rebuy poll from exchanges, the 50% goes to a pot where it will be distributed to people who make polls on the Clearpoll App

The other project is Clearpoll:
Polls have a lot of use cases, marketing surveys, product testing, public opinion, but they are sadly manipulated because they are not immutable and transparent, the best solution is blockchain so the votes don't get tampered.
Like Clearify 50% of the revenue is to buy poll from exchanges, their revenue is made by Sponsored Polls and Clearpoll+
So I'll cut to the chase and I'll explain what I believe is one of the best projects to go mainstream, every vote you do on Star polls (polls made by celebrities) and every vote you do on Sponsored polls gives you a point, those points are redeemed on the pot from Clearify and Clearpoll revenue. Also, every response from YOUR poll gives you a point as well.
The points you receive are also subjected to Bonus related to the number of tokens you have, for example 10k tokens = 300% points, you are basically getting paid from doing polls and responding to marketing polls and star polls.

>> No.10081113

>>10081068
PART2
Why is thing going mainstream? Network effect, stars will feel compelled to use the Clearpoll app because it means it's literally free money (make a poll -> share on twitter -> $$$), the more stars use the app, the more people participate, most people will feel compelled to do those polls, because it's literally free money. With the traction from the app, companies will use it to do sponsored polls, guess what, most people will use the app again to have free money. It's surveys on steroids. Their economic model is genius, to say the least.

The app will be released 30 August, this shit is really unknown for now and I do believe this will be the first mainstream blockchain app.

Bix

>> No.10081146

>>10081113
PART3
They have already some celebrities lined up, but they can't share the name, for now, some of them have 1+ million followers. The more success Clearpoll has, more stars and companies will use it, therefore increasing revenue which will increase the pot.

Read through ELA white paper and other sources.

Gotta say they are ambitious and the idea is good.

NKN has a smaller more realizable scope. I like what ELA is trying to achieve however, defo going to put some in.

Sorry for this but, can you tell me how far along in development they are?

>>10081265
I don't hold any of them except BNB for fees.

BNB because binance is the biggest volume exchange and most people trust this exchange.

ONT is the improved version of NEO

QTUM is like an modified faster version of Ethereum aimed at more Asian developers, instead uses POS to host nodes and confirm blocks, its uses the EVM and is about 4-5 times faster in transactions per second than ETH

ICX because it seems good and solid

ZIL has serious team and development for a promising tech called sharding, its scalibility looks good

ETH because you already know why

RHOC is the first DAG platform and seems like the code on the github is real good

DCR hybid proof of stake and work making it hard to fork or take over the network to double spend or rewrite transactions in previous blocks, also has self governance through voting by staking tickets

ADA a serious science project take on blockchain by many academics
