Pic makes a good point.

When I was teenager, I went several years waiting for the release of one game after another.

At some point, it pissed me off because even as a fourteen-year-old, I felt like I was spending my life always waiting for something, but I haven't felt that way since. So waiting for the singularity is kind of nostalgic.

Instead of waiting for mega Man zero 3, mmz 4, Sonic adventure 2, Sonic heroes, Sonic, battle, RuneScape 2 (HOLY SHIT GUYS ITS GONNA HAVE 3D GRAPHICS!!!!!), guild wars (I pre-ordered that shit), Halo 2, mech assault 2, the Nintendo REVOLUTION YEAH GUYS ITS GONNA BE SO COOL, I'm waiting to get mega rich so I can hire a bunch of hookers and then realize that filling someone else's holes isn't going to fill my own.
