Look at bitcoins volume, it's absolutely abysmal. I know you guys like to think "2 da moon!!!" but for that to happen you need volume and liquidity, that simply doesn't happen when you have no volume. Bitcoin could very well be "dead money" right now, with most big investors cashing out and letting it trade in a sideways 4-6k range or something.

If you look at some other futures you will realize their volatility and swing trade potential is based almost solely on the sizes of the short/long trade. You can pull up a chart of WTI and trace that drop from 60s to 20s, but you should also understand that at the time there was a RECORD number of shorts, that's the reason it was so liquid and volatile to the downside. There was BIG volume on the parabolic move upside, but since even before 20k, everybody got out.

In summation, if there is no volume bitcoin is dead money and you should just stop hoping for a miracle bounce, your money is stuck in a perpetual 4-6k range, and possibly lower. There is a possibility that bitcoin will never see above 7k again. Trading isn't for kids nor is it a game, just because something goes up or down doesn't mean it will go there again. Look at the Nikkei 225 for example.

best of luck, bag holders (:

It was fun but I still believe.
It is really easy to pump fomo in normies.
I will sell at $100k/Btc or die with my wallet.

I agree with you to an extent. This market is so transient that some minuscule event could jump start it and cause the price to go crazy. I won’t be holding my breath however. I’m still long for the long term on BTC, but not sure when the next big wave will be coming. I’d love for this thing to get back above $10k to instill some confidence in the market.

Volume is abysmal because whales already accumulated most of it from shaking you faggots out. They will shake everyone that bought post 2015 the fuck out. Once they’re done they will pump this shit to the moon

Volume comes from fresh blood, aka new dumb money coming in. Normies got burned, no new money there. Institutional investors? They have money because they're not dumb. To summarize: your an moran.

The point of investing (re: not day trading) is buying when volume and price is low faggot. Just go smoke a joint and live your life for a few months then when it hits 3-4k buy in and forget about it again for a few years then cash out at 100k like fuck
