the problem is

say you buy 100 BTC at 2$ and sell $30.

you make $2800 profit. massive gians, you watch it crash to $2 agian laugh at everyone and ride of into the sunset.

then it goes to 150, 200, 1000K etc, suddenly you dont feel so smart and you are buying in at loss to where you could have been, a massive loss.

the magnitude money is in the 20k to 100K not the then 20K to 1K

so the upside risk is what stops me selling regardless of how low it goes.
