It seems to me that XRP and flare solves the oracle problem through the use of federated byzantine agreements. It also seems to me that the oracle problem is a problem associated with ethereum and not smart contracts themselves.

You can't currently stake or become a node operator with chainlink, therefore making it centralized to whoever sergey on-boards

Am I understanding this right? Shouldn't the use of federated byzantine agreements to achieve consensus and therefore decentralization pull custody away from the individual node and towards the community that relies on that oracle service?

They are releasing a whole suite of oracles for use as well, found this interesting

oracles.cloud

also flare.ghost.io for those who haven't heard the news

Let's say LINK does hit the $1K meme at some point in the next bull market
If LINK hits $1K I will most likely have $5M+, and I believe many others on /biz will be multi-millionaires as well
What I propose is that we somehow help out other fellow /biz LINK marines who discovered LINK around the same time and price we all did back in 2017/2018 but were too poor to put invest more. I think those in the lower-tier ranking should start tripcoding and post their stack size and price discovered so that it can be archived and referenced later.

Is there any coin on Earth with a worse logo? This shit looks so old, yet doesn't fit any real design timeframe.

Why does Bitscreener display the price of CHAINLINK as 0.8238$, when Binance and Coinmarketcap says its around 0,58$?

Are bitscreener trying to take our LINKIES, or am I just a retard?

Does anyone have any actual evidence this shit will be used?
I don't mean "muh swift connections" and worthless partnerships where they will just use a private network. Is there any actual evidence, larps or otherwise of outside interest in the actual decentralized oracle network? Because I don't see anything here but another shitty funding token.

I have recently bought into chainlink, after finding out about it on twitter, and web3 summit.
When are going to moon?
yesterday I was checking the order book, and when the price almost reached 7500 sats, a huge sell wall appeared and was forcing the price to go lower, is that normal? how come we still didn't breach 7500k sats after all these announcements?

I was wondering when will the team start marketing chainlink?

I really hope we moon soon, as I need the money to pay for my scholarship

EVERYTHING IS MOVING EXCEPT CHAINLINK

WHY DID I GO ALL IN IN THIS FUCKING STABLE COIN

I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT QUANT AT THE DIP, I DIDN'T BECAUSE I EXPECTED ETHSF TO CREATE SOME LINK MOVEMENT

JUST IN THE LAST 48 HOURS WE HAD CONFIRMATION OF LINK POTENTIALLY BEING USED BY IBM, FEDEX, UPS AND HALF OF DOZEN REVOLUTIONARY HACKATHON PROJECTS THAT SHOW HOW LINK MAKES MOST PROJECTS OBSOLETE LIKE MICRO SUBSCRIPTIONS AND CROSS BORDER TRADING AND IOT SMART BETS AND 2 SERGEY APPEARANCES AT THE BIGGEST ETH EVENT EVER AND IT'S STILL NOT FUCKING MOVING

MEANWHILE QUANT GOT A +40%

FUCK FUCK FUCK WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS FUCKING MARKET

the review was writtenby tom gonser, and he explains what are smart contracts, racles what is decentralization, I think he dd a very good job explaining the whole thing, to those who do not have the technical background to understand the white paper.
