This thread is a great reminder to everyone that before you make it, while you make it, and after you make it just keep that shit completely to yourself. don't talk about crypto with your friends or family unless they ask you something about it. Never tell anyone how much money you have or made. It's common to not discuss these types of things at all in general and would be viewed as rude to even bring up at all. For example I was taught by my parents to not ask people how much money they make, no different for crypto. I mean are you really better off now after informing a friend or family member that your networth is 100x more than theirs? It accomplishes nothing. I definitely made this mistake, 90% of the people i know know me as the bitcoin guy. wish i hadn't even told my family. most of them do know i rekt myself basically back to square 1 in 2018 though so the universe is giving me another chance to make it again and not be a nigger this time about talking about money all the time.

If it's really that bad where your at now like everyone knows your situation 100% maybe move somewhere new and take on some cool hobbies and take them seriously. or you can have no social life, It's really easy to revert to hermit life once you've made it. Not sure i recommend that as a long term solution though.

Almost all my friends became too degenerate to "go out" with at some point - I can only partake in so much cocaine and whiteclaw before i legit lose my mind. My darkest moments are when i am still up at 6am , engaged in the pointless cocaine banter, birds start chirping, sun coming up and we're still railing lines since 9pm the night before and do this until the afternoon/until we run out of coke. Like you're actually having the most terrible time ever - mentally, and physically. but you can't stop doing it. So I never got new friends - only smoke hash now became a hermit & also "made it" in 2017 (leaving me even more addicted this world) - extremely introverted - social anxiety - no real desire to meet new people anymore. Have kept some old friends that i still do stuff with & go to family gatherings but beyond that i really can't be arsed out of my bubble too much. I think if i hadn't overdone it with drugs early on and meeting all the low quality people that come with that and been one myself - i wouldn't have such an aversion to going out or being around large groups of people.

money laundering is the process of paying taxes on dirty cash or crypto. How does a privacy coin alone help you do that? You still haven't paid taxes on your crypto after you switch it to XMR and back to btc. all that does is make it cleaner in regards to the history on the blockchain, its still dirty crypto in that you can't explain where it came from and you havent paid taxes on it. XMR and BTC are amazing for simply hiding value truly out of touch of the regular finance world, but actually laundering your crypto is gonna take a lot more than just buying XMR. it seems a large purpose of XMR and other privacy coins is simply as a mixer for BTC lol. send BTC to exchange you're not kyc on, exchange for XMR , send XMR to different exchange your not KYC on and exchange back for BTC. Now you've got different btc but you still can't explain to the IRS how you acquired that btc if you acquired it illegally. the way to launder money is through cash businesses adding a reasonable amount extra every day of business they actually did, that way you are paying taxes on your dirty cash. You can't expect to launder a huge about of money really quickly unless you've got huge businesses set up already. the cartel uses businesses of all kinds water parks hotels restaurants farms to launder their money. its a more complicated process than just hiding your money. these days with crypto its pretty easy to hold a lot of value out of reach.
