Heart palpitations should be looked into. If caused by anxiety try breath training like free-divers do.
You have never seen an anxious freediver have you?
Because the breathing itself is what regulates anxiety. In fact, most things.
Anxiety triggers cause shortening/lengthening of breath leading to heightened stress. It's a biological phenomenon preparing us for flight/fight. Either to silence the breath to hide from predators/prey or to maximize oxygen absorption to prepare to run from predators/run after prey/
Besides this, part of their(freedivers) training is to hold their breath as long as possible which floods you with stress until you breath again. Doing this repeatedly builds up a tolerance in your blood for stress hormones themselves just like would happen with the obesity cycle and insulin. Or the exercise cycle. Which, over time, numbs you against the pain of exercising while doing it when you do it frequently enough.
People oversimplify it and tell you to 'just breath bro' but that's all you have to do, albeit with difference for each person depending on how their breath is effected. (holding air in lungs or breathing shallow) Be aware of your breath and you are in control of yourself.
Make sure to exhale fully too. Exhale till you are red in the face and a bit more. Get the toxic air out which you have been holding in due to stress. This exhalation method has proven highly successful for a number of different ailments. Including emphesemia. But they will never tell you that bed-bound emphesiamiacs returned to walking within hours after they realized they had been holding air in the lungs due to the prescence of the holes themselves.
Breathing very deep and holding has also been used to straighten spines in younger people who suffered from scoliosis before WW2; burning jewinzoo, with limited effects in older people with harder bones.

Suffer and die then.
If you care no enough to try, why should I?
>tl;dr just breath bro
