So what does that mean for their short positions?
Will they have to liquidate?
Asking for a friend who owns some LGND.

These are their largest short positions by % of float.
1) GME
2) LGND
3) BBBY

GME and BBBY they probably already liquidated a bit. LGND only rose 20% yet this week and the short ratio is 27. This means: no liquidity.

If you account for Mcap it's the third most shorted.
I went into LGND at $173.
Mainly because the fundamentals look great after reading every quarterly report of the last decade twice.
Off course anon, and I cant stress this enough, do your own due dilligence.
This is not investment advise.

They'll just get squeezed on the others then.
This is a list of largest short position relative to float by Melvin capital.
7.7% of GME float short
3.7% of LGND float short etc.

If Melvin goes under, will they have to liquidate?

These are there largest short postitions relative to MCap.
They will have to liquidate them as much as possible.
Do with this info what you want.

Ligand is the short squeeze that will get triggered by Melvin capitulating its short portfolio.

I know why, because the short interest by Melvin was not big enough to cause a squeeze.
