This is my first thread.
Behold, a newfag!

Inspired by neurotrader on youtube, i would like to start a new hobby by studying the
math, algorithms and finance subjects involved to implement a solid trading bot framework.

I know it will take time but since i have nothing to lose and appreciate learning and
studying new stuff this is not a problem for me.

My question is, in the long term, will it be profitable being able to implement
solid automation techniques? Taking also note of AI, smart contracts and other shit.
I find being able to interact with the markets with a programmer point of view might be
really interesting now and in the future.

However, if you find this question stupid, naive and to be discarded,
what other subjects could i research to be profitable in this sector by
leveraging my programmer skills? I don't want to make it a job,
i already have one as a penetration tester. Maybe being able
to audit smart contracts is an idea? Mhhm...
