WTF IS HAPPENING? I JUST SHORTED YESTERDAY

Guys, do you know anything about what can freeze the market maker when trading certificates/warrants? I was daytrading the volatility in natgas prices the other day using certificates (12x leverage). Made consecutive 5% gains, untill the market maker suddenly gave out on me, on ALL the certificates i was trading. Hasn't hurt me much, since i was in a short position when it happened... but still WTF?

Is it my fault it froze? does the certificate issuer look down on daytrading? am i on a watchlist now for bad goys?

So I applied for an entry level “data analyst” job which I thought I was qualified for. I progressed to the phone interview with a hiring manager. Thought I did OK but got a rejection email from a HR roastie a few days later. But turns out that the hiring manager really liked me enough to break protocol to give me a private call about feedback. He basically told me this:
>he got around 1300 applications for that one job opening
>most had more experience and better qualifications than me for an ENTRY LEVEL job
>management decided to go with a woman in the end to improve their diversity
