Mostly got lucky with my network providing short-term projects. I don't really have a stable job, I made 200k in 2017 and I'm in the negative for 2018 and 2019 (I barely work though, having a kid/pregnant wife is tough when all the grandparents are at selo and you're in Sofeto).
If you just buy a pluralsight membership on black friday, and then spend a month catching up you'll be a better dev than me, srs. Just study some nosql and build some AI system on your own. Shouldn't take more than 2-3 months.
