Scrap anons, how do you handle estate sales? I've had small amounts of luck locally finding sterling for under spot, and I've found a sale tomorrow that has a number of heavy items. Will the estate sale company look at me sideways for bringing a kitchen scale?

The prices that I can see look pretty good, like one of pic related for $50. Ebay has one listed for three times that, and says it's 120 grams of sterling, so solidly under the melt value. Other than getting there first, is there anything else I should look out for? Is it reasonable to negotiate if you're spending a lot?

Any advice for an aspiring goblin looking to loot boomer treasure?
