If you manage to figure that one out I'd like to know the answer. I am slowly starting to begrudgingly admit that managing individual stocks is ten times the work, five times the risk, and not worth the effort unless it's your full-time job. My conservative index swing trades have outperformed my yolo gambles significantly in the last three years. Those index swings have only outperformed the market by maybe 5% overall since 2016. The problem is I'm stubborn to the point of masochism and it takes time for my opinions to change.
