That's the real value of the NFT Marketplace imo. Sure, the content is pretty stupid for now, but the transaction technology behind it isn't. You have people who own the NFT and set an asking price. If you want to buy it at that price, awesome. Click the buy button and let a publicly decentralized backend system take care of the transaction. The asset and money changes hand automatically without any 3rd party human involvment. No infinite liquidity bullshit, no payment for order flow, no off-exchange 'price improvement', no delayed settlement, no internalization, no etf arbitrage, no failures to deliver, etc etc etc. Christ even typing down these bullshit market mechanics make me angry as fuck.
