Certainly not fren, it's a proper piece of sterling hollow-ware. Weighted stuff with rare exceptions all gets scrapped but I like hoarding these better quality pieces, besides a personal appreciation for antiques so much of this stuff has gotten melted and refined over the years that if tastes change and sterling becomes fashionable again the relatively few pieces that remain will be worth a respectable premium. Anyway keep your eyes open for deals, boomers die and their estates get liquidated every day so good luck hunting.
