what if it's the truth anon

I want to believe

I won't ever sell just in case

But it feels less and less likely by the hour

even if blockchain is an important future technology (like the internet is) how can you be so sure LINK is an Amazon or Google and not a pets.com or a netscape or any of the other failures? The people buying these stocks were right that the internet was going to be the future but also very wrong

I hold LINK and I'm FUDing the fuck out of it tonight. I don't know what's wrong with me. I believe this project has huge potential but the absolute certainty on here is fucking DELUDED

I know the feel man we've all known about this so long but no one else seems to care

I remember all the obvious partnerships and the way this opens blockchain to all sorts of new use cases but the most effective FUD in my mind is the thought "it can't possibly be this easy"

Even $5 LINK would be absolutely life changing and the only real lucky break I'll ever have had (if it happens). I can't imagine being that lucky... stuff like this doesn't happen to me.

All these predictions always assume a best case scenario, but let's try to be conservative:

If LINK gets to NEO's current market cap and all tokens are circulating it will be $2 per LINK

And NEO is a big project

If LINK get's to Ripple's current market cap and all tokens are in circulation it will be $18 per LINK. But Ripple is fucking huge - it's the third biggest crypto.

For $1000 LINK would have to be almost TEN TIMES Bitcoin's current market cap

But, of course, overall crypto market cap will grow. And LINK is a great and necessary project that clearly is in deep with a ton of partnerships.

I'm just trying to temper expectations a little bit. Most estimates over $50 assume an absolute best case scenario where the following is CERTAIN:
- LINK will be a top 10 coin
- Crypto MC will go to $10 Tn+

I'm not saying these things won't happen but it's by no means guaranteed. Even $10 LINK would be life changing for me desu. People thinking they're guaranteed to make it with 1k stacks or that it's only a matter of time before LINK hits $1000 or even $100 are optimistic at best and deluded at worst

this isn't FUD and if you don't hold LINK you are a fool

OP
GO ALL IN ON LINK

Seriously start fucking paying attention to chainlink threads. Go to waruso and start reading assblaster posts. You retard are buying some shitty tokens and wishing they will rise on speculation while you are constantly seeing this "blue cube" which will moon on supply/demand, but you are too retarded to comprehend smart contracts and decentralised oracles and you are too big of a pussy to just go all in because of the meme magik.

Basically: The more data sources, the more security. But data sources cost network transaction fees (until chainlink can settle this off chain). Low value contracts can opt to use fewer data sources (and so save network transaction fees) but the contracts will be less secure. High value contracts can opt to pay for more data sources and thus more security.

It's still orders of magnitude less expensive than hiring lawyers and people to settle these contracts via the current system.

Then they'll get put out of business by the new insurance startup that can:
1. offer lower premiums due to lower premiums as a result of replacing employees with smart contracts
2. offer quicker payouts

Even if this were true the most important thing is being the last
Friends reunited, bebo, myspace, etc. were all before Facebook
There are tons of projects out there hurrying to cash in on the demand for oracles but no serious player is going to risk their reputation using some half-baked, untested 6 month old project

Sergey has been looking to categorically solve the oracle problem from day one. There's a reason why he's been invited to SIBOS and has worked with the likes of Swift, Barclays, Santander etc. - can you really see these guys buying aeternity or whatever on some shitty exchange? Sergey has the 350m LINK to give to these guys when main net is released (and this is a good thing)
