The stock market trends up because the frauds and liars heading up the organized scams that make up the stock market will do everything in their power to juice the price and enrich themselves and their buddies. That's the incentive structure that exists. The more they lie, cheat, steal, call in political favors, get positive PR spin by their lapdogs in the media, etc. the higher the price goes. That's the game. It works until it doesn't at which point the market crashes, the ring leaders get off Scot free or with a minor wrist slap, some lackey fall guy gets a few years in club Fed and then the cycle starts anew with another set of jokers. That's why the market goes up. It's rigged to go up. Plan your trades accordingly
