Smart contracts. Think LINK but instead of banks its business to business. Apex is already massive in this field and they have stated 35% of their clients so far are on board with this already. Item number 9 on their white paper outlines they are 100% using NEO. http://apex.chinapex.com/ 1 NEO per 300 of Apexs tokens too, I might have to get in on that as well but this is big for NEO. Very big. As big as SWIFT adoption for LINK. Now real world adoption and use of NEO in a big market is only a matter of Apex finishing its ICO which you can assume being as big as they are they will not take long to finish. Their team and advisor list alone could do it in 3 months. This has cemented NEO into real world use and means it will not be going anywhere for some time. Longevity is key to success in crypto and NEO just made it. Once NEO officially announce this it will be huge as well as when China allows ICOs again. Big things in the future for NEO and it hasnt even hit coinone exchange yet that crazy korean one.

Honestly, why don't people jsut use NEO? It can be bought and sold on nearly every exchange already, it is free to transfer and you can keep a stock in your wallet to transfer in/out of to speed up the 1-5min delay between sending and receiving. Plus free gs money. I don't get it. I have been using NEO to fund my trades for ages now and its saved me a fair amount of money I imagine. Sure you can only move whole numbers and sometimes the exchanges take a cut meaning you get dust left over but oh well, it just adds to the next lot when you use it, plus you even get gas on that while it sits in exchanges for half of them!
Not even really a shill (OK I guess it is), it just makes sense to use NEO if you are serious about trading over multiple exchanges.
