sorry i dipped out of that last thread with irl stuff i had to do, but if you're still lurking:

to make 100k+ you have to move up to being an engineering. but you can still do that pretty easily in electrical, learn to program and you can work your way up, but it's going to require a bachelors degree. which is fine because it's way cheaper to do 2 years in a CC and then transfer to a 4 year institution than do 4 years in a 4 year institution, plus you get better scholarships if you do well since you prove yourself beforehand (unlike people just coming out of high school).

me though, i prefer saying a tech, it's a lot more comfy. being an engineer is very stressful and many take work home with them, that's just how it is but if you're down for that you can certainly make big bucks, it's just a lot of hard work. i figure the only way im getting actually rich is through stonks or the highly unlikely chance my music career takes off somehow. so, probably stonks.

people fail at trading stocks because real trading is very boring and people all want the sexy yet unpredictable spikes. most people can't handle the fact that real trading is just about finding high probability setups through some form of FA and/or TA and strictly following the rules for entering and exiting a trade with a pre-defined risk.

you'll never get the phat ass chicks if you can't get past the mental hurdles. it is known.
