the only point he's really making is that indicators can help if you're a newbie (or as you have extended upon, if you're trying to code an EA), but all he really needs to trade is naked price action and volume itself, which it is true that all indicators are simply performing some sort of mathematical calculation based off of price, volume, and time, the only variables that truly exist on a chart.

the main take away from that video though that i try to point out is how important the 200 MA is on the hourly and daily timeframes, even someone who is heavily biased against all indicators points out how it is respected by tutes (similarly, VWAP for intraday). it's why i always post these sorts of charts using the keltner channel specifically based on the 200 hour MA and probably why it so often works well especially if you pick the right stocks for it/combine it with FA.

you can do the daily too of course but i don't like working over such long time frames for my trades, but you certainly could.

it's near the bottom of the keltner channel at least so i'll grant you that. that said the chart looks like trash in general.
