Nah, those are scams.

Conventional AC synchronous motors and generators already operate using magnetism. They basically switch an AC current across a cylindrical cage to induce magnetism around a rotor in a manner not dissimilar to what you probably have in your head.

If it helps to understand why those videos are scams: from the perspective of the magnet, it's going to push/pull the "next" magnet up just as much as it does the PREVIOUS magnet. As a result, the magnetic flux is actually going to slow down the motion, not speed it up, because the net force from the magnet(s) are going to try to make the rotor stay still. This is precisely why AC synchronous systems need AC in the first place - you rotate the magnetic flux around the rotor to keep the poles moving, meaning the rotor moves too.

Those videos generally involve hidden batteries.
