Assuming the news is ads released on main browser I wouldnt be worried about a price dump, even if it does not for long. BAT will be slowly pulled out of the trading supply and into user's wallets in-mass, as saturation occurs the price "can't" stay down.

Of course there is. Brave ads are running in the beta/dev versions, and for now (until they release the 2 way wallet) they can only be used for tipping. Any BAT that gets paid for an ad is removed from the trading supply and gets spread thinner and thinner between users and publishers. Once ads go live on the public release, expect BATs trading supply to slowly widdle down.
