So what do you guys know about Michael Novogratz?

Formerly of Fortress Investment Group. Billionaire hedge fund type. Made a stupid amount of money off of crypto. Last month he announced that he was forming a new hedge fund to go into crypto. Around $500 million, with $150 being his own.

...guess who is getting involved in Airswap now?

I *did* say Airswap was the financial institution angle with its tailored focused on OTC trades...

>>3752019
Not that many, honestly. I just have a heavy research background.

>>3752097
Airswap, anon-san. Airswap.

>Brock Piere, the Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation, co-founder of Blockchain Capital (BCAP), and more. Since he was a founding board member of Mastercoin, which invented the ICO, you could say we're all benefiting from his work in some ways.
>Clifford Hart, the former Ambassador to Hong Kong and Macau for the US. Since Airswap is Hong Kong based, that means solid local political connections (and according to rumors, a sign of a smooth transition to a Binance listing).
...and many others. Connections and backing galore!~

All of this means that Airswap is getting big media hype and institutional interest. Aside from the aforementioned Bloomberg article, there is an interview/article with CNBC, an interview with The Blockchain Show, a piece in the Hong Kong Oriental Daily, a recently announced partnership with Digix (DGX), and more.

I will not answering any questions about my gender. I'd like to stay focused on the crypto.

And no, I'm not Ian Balina. Unlike him, I'm willing to give people advice for free and am into long-term holds, not quick flips that will die out when the bubble pops.

Damn it! I'll have to see what I can do about the link now.

A-Anyways, Blackmoon will likely be a long term thing, so I advise you to use your own judgment. For September we still have the Tron ICO, Red Pulse, Enigma, the Science pre-sale, Cindicator, Ambrosus, Kyber, and anything else I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

Just a LOOOOT of stuff coming up. I'm also stretched thin! Trying to find out where to fundraise from.

*Hai hai!~*

Yes, funny thing: when my RL friends and I wanted to pool together, three of us put in orders for a pre-sale spot (100 to 300 ETH). One of us got it and we went in on that. But only today did Sergey respond with the above link.

So, seeing as I had an unused ChainLink pre-sale address, I figured I might as well give it away! It's better if it's used, after all!

Hai hai!~ I'm right here!~

Anons, I *did* say this was a long-term play, having to account for a growing blockchain ecosystem, airdrops, and more. And the opportunities for flipping depend on the exchanges, which as you know are dealing with regulatory/compliance demands from the SEC. Fortunately, we should be getting Radar Relay sometime this month.

And speaking of news, Drake (the CEO) just dropped this big news on Telegram:

>A number of important things have been accomplished the past two days, so I appreciate the patience and support of the Community. We have established some new allies in our ongoing development and work toward developing the decentralized infrastructure we will need to successfully deploy the full Embermine Platform.

>From the beginning, the challenge for us would always be translating our philosophy, concepts, systems design into accessible and functional products and services. The relationships we have built over the past 48 hours took a gigantic step to ensuring that we will meet those challenges, and have our own cutting edge technology, instead of having to mold our needs to fit someone else's design.

>So now, we not only have the potential to control our own destiny, and have a custom blockchain that truly embraces the needs that we have, but we still have access to the EOS and 0x protocols as backup areas of development if needed. Having multiple outs and solutions is the key to surviving in emerging and evolving marketplaces.

If my general plan works (in other words, I buy in early), then I sell 25% to 50% of what I bought for *at least* 5x the initial price, to recover my initial investment and some profit. This is reinvested elsewhere. What I don't sell I hold for the long term.

So I sold a chunk last night after the Poloniex listing.

Ah! I guess I missed that! Sorry!~

Yes, I forgot about Slipstream! Though it still needs to finish a bit of testing if I recall.

And I prefer being a bit more conservative about my future price predictions, sempai. That way it's better to be surprised if things go better than expected.

>>3096440
Yep! You have them in your Ethereum wallet during before the snapshot and you'll get the tokens! Though you'll probably have to go to the Telegram to find the contract address to add the custom token symbol.

The founder of Xapo said that this was crucial to his understanding of money and finance. It led him to going "all in" on crypto since 2012-13.

Haven't had a chance to read it myself, but I hear good things.

This is why I've been talking about this project. At the *very least*, we'll be saying goodbye to EtherDelta and getting something better.

Shame about the individual cap for the first day though.

>>3067846
If I recall correctly, the tokens will be automatically distributed right after the ICO ends. So you should be getting them on your wallets.

As for exchanges, I would expect Bittrex and the other large exchanges would take longer (due to compliance reviews and the like, plus antipathy towards selling that represents competition). The smaller exchanges can probably move faster, but still have the antipathy issue. EtherDelta is (ironically) probably the best for the first exchange then!

Well anon-kun, first keep in mind that the messenger is just the first app. What you're buying into here is more than just that.

As for messengers, it depends on what your goal is. If you just want to chat with friends and don't care about privacy, you can just use Facebook Messenger! Seriously though, please don't do that. You might as well be handing over chat logs.

If you value privacy though, then you get an encrypted messaging app. And while in the West people take freedom for granted, in other parts of the world...
...it isn't as simple. You need an encrypted messaging app.

And as >>3050637 pointed out, decentralizations means that there isn't a single point of failure! Did you know that Signal depends on centralized servers in 10 countries? Same with Telegram! if they were to be seized, what would happen? With Obsidian though, this can't be done because there are no servers! They can try and try to take down nodes, but the system would still be up.

I think it's bull, anon-san. They need to cover their ass.

In the short-term, the sheer hype surrounding the project (including the the partnership with Ethfinex) means that the $24 million ICO hardcap will be met pretty quickly due to demand. And since the tokens will be distributed right after the ICO finishes, I'm guessing we'll see them on exchanges not that long after. So it'll be a bidding way as some ambitious people buy them up.

In the long-term, since what is basically a small fee in ZRX will be paid for every transaction over the protocol, then this means that the more transactions are being done on the 0x protocol the more valuable ZRX should be? Plus, this thing is better than a lot of existing concepts (centralized exchanges, cheaply made and hard-to-use decentralized exchanges like EtherDelta), meaning it will likely be used more. *And* this thing could be used from here until 2025 and beyond, so increasing value.

I say buy and hold for the long-term, as with all ETH ecosystem infrastructure tokens.
