ECB / Lagarde has been sitting on their hands so saving accounts of EU boomers can continue to get raped with negative interest rates.
It would be a nice surprise if they at least made the step to zero interest rate one month early. That's the most optimistic idea I have for the emergency meeting.
In unrelated news, maybe we could get a boost to our supply of natural gas (not at lower price) because of the new Israel deal. It would be good news for energy-intensive stocks like chemical industry in Germany.
