Thanks for asking, anon. I feel trapped and I unironically want to kill myself. Life feels like a chore at this point.
Growing up in isolation has ruined me. I've never experienced true friendship or true love. I'm scared of my own species because I'm so used to being abused and manipulated.
Being unable to feel happiness is painful, but being unable to cry is even worse. I just wish I could feel like a human again.
I have two younger brothers who look up to me, but I don't want them to end up as miserable as me.
I hate myself so much.

I'm so tired of hodling
living in my cuckshed house getting older every day
I downed a half bottle of liquor and smoked a half pack of cigs tonight

the only skill I've learned my whole adult life is to hold
I hope so bad we see some progress so I can get out of this state

They have their merits too though. If I recall correctly there was a computer scientist who earned his PhD because he came up with the equation of how to imitate shadows in vidya using non-euclidean geometry. Plus 'mind-muscle memory' is also a thing. That's why pilots use flight sims. And Netflix is good for unwinding. I guess its just important to try and find balance in everything you do.

There was a brilliant mathematician named Alexander Grothendieck who did pure mathematics 9 hours a day for 10 years straight and revolutionized the entire field. At the end of it all he really had to say was that his soul had suffered during that time (or something like that). So I just try to keep that in mind.

Hello /biz/,
It is my first time posting on this board but I am looking for guidance.

I am an 18 year old from Eastern Europe and I only have some moths of highschool left. My father has a store and he has always been an entrepreneur and I am looking to fallow in his steps.

My dream is becoming a businessman and working with trades, investments and small business but I'll have to start from scratch.

I am basecly asking you, what steps should I take to acomplish my goals? Fallow a shit teer university here in Eastern Europe or go in debt in the west? For all I know this job is more practical than theory.
