I'm hoping they will bump the 4% for new stakers to 5% to match ICO in the long term, since incentivizing new stakers is more important going forward

No. You're completely wrong. FTX/Alameda were nothing but a hoover, sucking as much money out of crypto as possible with no regard for the consequences. They proved this by blowing up so many defi protocols. The idea that they were trying to prop up BTC is fucking absurd.

If there was any sort of long-term strategy at the FTX/Alameda/Solana Rugpull Industrial Complex, it would have been to suck every existing crypto/token/protocol dry, and impose their FTX Ventures 'solutions' as a replacement that they could then steadily dump for income. It's telling that Craptos failed spectacularly upon launch a mere week or so before this all went down. Had the Craptos token distribution not been leaked at the last moment, SBF would have had the extra liquidity to keep the charade running a while longer.

Probably, other big industry players were running around after the carnage FTX/Alameda caused to try and keep their own balance sheets serviceable. This likely led to the metastability that held BTC stable... until it didn't.

Not possible.
i - ahem i mean Coinmetro runs the exchange responsibly and with a long term oriented strategy. Slow, steady, properly built infrastructure
Not leveraged and doing shady bailouts for Alameda using customer funds.

I'm not Kevin, btw

You're not as intelligent as you think, anon.
Very weak arguments, mostly misrepresentations.
I will stick with Coinmetro.
