Thanks for the input guys. Figured this thread died after a couple replies and it turns out people have been replying.

The job is doing retirement plan consulting. Currently have 0 experience with it and would have to be trained (hence the low starting wage).

Graduated with an Econ degree from UCSB last year but it's extremely difficult to find work in California with as little work experience as I have. My friend who lives in Vegas was able to get me the job. Seems like I'll be able to survive from what people are saying, plus I'm going crazy living at home again.
