Ethereum is the worst of both worlds. It's neither decentralized nor efficient. Its consensus rules are not immutable (how many hardforks have there been upto this point? Like 7?) and it's not censorship resistant as barely anyone is able to run a full validating node, which is why everyone queries infura.
Might as well use AWS or any other cloud platform, which is cheaper, faster and more reliable. In nearly 6 years of existence the only use case for ETH has been convincing midwits to buy into theranos-like scams and ICO/DeFi ponzi schemes built on top of it.
Vitalik is a typical goal-post shifting conman. He embodies the midwit's idea of a genius.
