Americans love their sticky-floored slophouse theaters and the digital service model for movie distribution is, I think, going to unravel because 1) nobody wants to pay for a bunch of different subscriptions to see whatever new flick co-workers and friends are talking about 2) Millennials remember how bullshit cable packages were 3) Piracy is an easy as fuck alternative and most people are tech savvy enough to do it if they just take 5 minutes to google or ask someone to show them how.

I could be wrong because this is just kind of a gut feeling not real DD, but I really think if they can weather the pandemic and a stupid Marvel movie or something comes out at the right time, AMC will be looking at a boom.
