I want to try to get into stocks, with the aim being able to retire early within 10-20 years. At the moment I have $35,000 that I can afford to lose, and the idea is to add roughly $15,000 a year to that from my day job while spending the next 5 or so years learning and experimenting with tiny investments. After that I hope to be able to start actually investing the money I've saved up, and then retire from my day job within 10-15 years. Is this doable, provided that I actually manage to git gud at stocks? I have a roughly $80,000 mortgage left on my house, no other debt.
