Preferably the Ninja as they were made from 2013 and can be had for less $$$. You can find low mileage 2013-2015 ninja 300s around where I live for $2500-2700 and I can tell you from experience they are about as reliable as an old hammer. Also despite what the internet might have you believe they are quite fast enough around town and sufficient, if not ideal, for freeway work. I took several long trips on mine.
