It's so surreal sitting here in 2023 with my 10k Link staked in an official CL pool.
The last 6 years has been like a war.
>Bought at 0.15,
>sold early
>Battled through the last few years to get to 10k,
>missed staking last year
>finally got in this year
what a ride

I'm with you, brother, but I'm not really depressed about it for some reason.
I always planned on holding until the next cycle peak, so there's that.
I guess what's frustrating me is that there's such a clear path to the price action we want, but it's like how the last day of a prison term is the longest day you'll serve.
I'm just concerned that when we start seeing CCIP released, the market is going to be in some sort of generational crisis. Like I'm seriously expecting something like that.

>Advertisers have to pay a fuck ton for low quality ads?

no, Brave ad campaigns are priced in USD. An advertiser buys a campaign by paying Brave, Brave then converts that payment into BAT to fund the campaign. Alternatively, advertisers can pay for an ad campaign using BAT but once again, they're paying in USD-valued ad campaigns. That's my understanding anyways.

So actually when advertisers buy a bunch of BAT at low prices, they have an easier/cheaper time funding ad campaigns as the price of BAT goes up (ex: buy 1000 BAT at 10 cents = $100, ad campaign costs $50 (priced in USD). BAT goes up to 50 cents, you can now fund 10 brave ad campaigns rather than 2 that you could fund when you bought the BAT). Obviously ad campaigns are much more expensive than that but that's the general idea

What do you mean?
Sonic is awesome.
It reminds me of my wholesome childhood with my white middle class family.

just know that the moment you sell, the market is going to turn and pump 10x.

The best thing you can do is find something to occupy your mind or a way to make money another way so you can DCA while Link is low.
We know Link is going to be extremely valuable in the future if crypto continues to mature, but we don't know when.
It could be 1 year or 5 years, so figure out how to make it through and you'll be better equipped to handle the wealth that'll be dumped in your lap.

I'm down $72,120 as of this morning.
A lot of that is cash out of my pocket, but some is ETH I traded for Link last year.

If I can deal with literal bagholding for a few years, you can too.

If Chainlink succeeds, then ETH will succeed.
Not the other way around.
The entire blockchain/4th industrial revolution depends on Chainlink succeeding, so betting on Link is a vote that you think crypto will be around for the long haul.

Do you guys use a different trezor/hard wallet for each token?

I'm thinking it's best not to have everything on one trezor, but I could be wrong.
If I put all my btc on one, all my eth on another, and split my link into 2 or 3, that would theoretically better incase something was compromised.
The only downside is there are multiple seeds to manage.

My parent's private banking guy at (bank name redacted) told me that if I'm going to get into crypto just stick with BTC, ETH, and maybe LINK.
It was weird how he mentioned link out of all the different alts out there that would seemingly be safer.
I asked him if he ever gets on /biz/ and he gave me the weirdest look as if I just stood up on the table and screamed "Nigger" at the top of my lungs.
He said, "ummmm I try to stay away from 4chan"

So who knows where he's heard that Link is a solid project.

All that shit is more than priced in.
This is an $8 billion market cap coin that doesn't actually do anything yet other than run a few price feeds.
This pump is nothing but speculation. It's getting to the point that it's so over bought, using link isn't even going to be attractive to anyone interested in the tech.
Enjoy the pump for what it is, which is the culmination of a few years of constant shilling and tons of fomo.

I have a pretty embarrassing fart story
>23 yrs old on vacation with my brother in Hawaii
>take a SUV tour
>group is my brother and I and a family with 2 hot daughters
>have to piss as soon as we leave
>tour guide gathers everyone around before we leave to talk about safety
>I’m literally doing the potty dance as I’m doing everything I can to hold it until I can sneak off and piss in the bushes
>my body pulls the energy it takes to control my sphincter to keep my urethra shut
>start farting uncontrollably and loudly
>loud enough for everyone to hear
>everyone looks at me like I’m a monster
> girls laughing openly at me
> my brother is practically rolling on the ground in tears of laughter
>I run off and piss in the bushes
>piss for at least 2 minutes
>get back and everyone assumes I shit myself
> have to finish the tour
>get to the area where they shot Indiana Jones swinging into a river
>swing into the river with my iPhone in my pocket
