Do you even read anon? That’s my point, you could buy now and lower your average. This could continue for many months, we don’t know. The point is the probability of btc hitting 60k+ again after the next halving is very high. So 18500 is cheap in comparison. In a broad etf you double your capital every 10 years on average. With btc right now it would be a 3-4x within 2-3 years, not factoring in the new ath and the (possibly) coming lows around 10k

I've been day-trading through these accounts and I've never had any trouble from my bank or any limitations placed on my accounts.

The only limitations I know of is that if you trade through a TFSA you have to be careful not to trade too frequently or "too well" as my advisor put it or else they'll label you as "running a day-trading company through a registered account" even if you aren't day-trading in it. If that happens they make your TFSA into a taxed account and take away your tax-free privileges.

Also, there's no relevant support above 8k. In this oldfag's opinion, we may have another 50-70% to go from here.
