the remaining challenge is with the details of completely concealing the silver. for example, if you placed the bar in the jar vertically, it would naturally lean to one side up agains the glass. the corner of the silver bar may be visible through the coom - you would have to deal with this in some way

you could do a few things: lean the jar on it's side so the silver is laying down horizontally and no corners are touching the jar. this will leave enough coom between the jar and the silver to conceal.

you could put white tape on the corners / edges of the silver bar to camoflauge it better in the coom, in case one of the corners is somehow visible

you could theoretically position the jar vertically and find a way and find a way to hold the silver in an upright position, not leaning up against the glass on any side. this will leave enough coom between the jar and the silver to conceal, similar to the horizontal method
