how about writing covered calls - what is (Your) opinion on that? Since I will now have the underlying I can potentially make money on covered call premiums, assuming the price of the underlying doesn't skyrocket above the strike price - yes?

what would happen should the option buyer exercise the call - assuming the underlying stock price is greater than the stock price? I'd have to sell all of my underlying stock yes? then I guess I lose a bit of money and could just buy back the underlying. sounds like I could just write calls at insane OTM strike prices and make a tiny tiny bit of money on premiums.

I thought I wanted high volatility (or "vega"), since this is an indicator of greater price movement, right? Or is your point, No, you want to look for low volatility, since the option itself should cost less (higher the volatility higher the premium?).

I am thinking the same thing about buying those SPY puts and selling later today. I'll buy if you buy. SPY looks overbought right now. Lot sure if Jerome will affect anything, thought.

Well I learned a lesson on LATAM. If a company goes bankrupt you can lose your shares.
