Getting skills like cooking and even small amounts of handy work goes a really long way. Cooking saves you on food and the money that goes into that (not to mention the health and energy benefits which are arguably more valuable) if you're smart about it,

and the handy work allows you to work on the house you buy so that you can sell it for more than it costs, or if you're real savvy/skilled you can work on peoples houses locally in your free time if youre that strapped for cash.

Everyone needs a cheap and skilled handyman/tradesmen

I'm a chemist who has become familiar with a relatively unknown class of materials, and I think that I have some excellent and marketable applications in mind
but I'm worried that they're already marketed or at least in the works.

I can't find any retail products that contain these materials, many are alluded to in academic papers but the commercial potential of them seems to still be untapped.

My question is this: If I have a product in mind that I know isn't currently marketed or patented, but seems like a fairly obvious application, how to determine if pursuing this is worth the time? I feel like my ideas have either been considered, fully tested, and found to be unfeasible, or will be brought to market 15 minutes before me by some large corporation with teams of hundreds of people who are paid to sit around all day and dream up shit like this.

About a decade has gone by since the patents for the materials themselves were secured, but it's been quiet on the front up to now.

Just pick the best savings to account you can find and leave it at that.

As a 6 fig fag, I keep around 20k in cash-near cash assets so that the liquidity and health of my portfolio is not jeopardised by mismanaging risk. It beats official inflation, but that shit is higher than they be saying for assets.

This isn't something to complain about by the way. A debt/consooomer fueled economy needs the majority of its citizens to be instant gratfication monkeys. They do not see money in the way those who have it and invest do.

Once you see money as a tool to your freedom and long term security (which all leads anyway to short term happiness) then you are rich. Most normies see it as credits to buy stuff, money is supposed to be spent right!
