Borrowing processor cycles isn't going to match the need for infinite probability calculation. Sophia is a neat project, but it's mostly, again, a chatbot that participates in social contract simulation. It's not making decisions with infinite probability. If it steps outside its defined environment it's totally lost. The challenges involved with creating a true AI are really profound. We've allowed ourselves to be lulled into the sense of accepting what AI is when its goal post has been moved many times by faggots in silicon valley.

I'm not saying that AI is impossible it just is currently with the level of computation we can deploy. I cannot speak for wild cards that aren't publicly documented but as a technician, I prefer to be grounded in what I can observe. Furthermore, I'm sure there is classified technology that I will never get to disassemble. However, there are physical limitations that we are forced to abide by and breaking those physical limitations requires tremendous amounts of power. Of which will have to come in the form of successful and optimized fusion generation.
