That's good. I think I just get paranoid because I've seen people melt some very valuable shit. I buy out of my coin shop's scrap bucket and I've turned several hundred on something that may have melted for $30. It especially pains me if something is artesian by niche designer with few products of the market, or something historical like a Victorian brooch. I pull my scalp hairs watching "flipping" shows where people will destroy designer teak furniture at swapmeets by painting them teal and gluing mirrors. "We made $300 on this dresser we paid $20 for, how great!" >it's $3,000 if you just stained it and called it a day.
