Exponential growth only exists in the world of mathematics. On Earth we are constrained by fixed resources, mainly the amount of oil and land available.
The only reason the market indices seem to grow exponentially is because CPI is rigged and there has been an artificial market pump from all the money the Fed has printed since 2008 that has made the market shoot straight up like it has never before in history.
Log charts are hopium for investors because they hide all the volatility and make charts look way better than they actually are.
