reminder that consumer staples will outperform consumer discretionary in times of volatility

heres a historical look at the pair during times of hi vol. green on top signals a preference for staples over discretionary. granted this chart has since become useless as AMZN ate the entire discretionary sector and will probably survive, but its helpful to notice staples resilience in times of hi vol
