Get it through your head: This is not a Trump thing, or a Biden thing. The same withdrawal of US forces and naval security was going to happen under ANY administration. Whether there was a deal in place to allow foreign nuclear inspectors or not does not matter in the long term of either Iranian or Israeli foreign policy. Sure, a lack of a deal gives the Israelis their casus belli in that a nuclear program 'might' exist, and a deal strips that away. But in neither case was it going to stop either side from running proxy wars and killing each others' scientists. In neither case was Israel going to suddenly go all in on a direct war with Iran. In neither case, does such a deal alter the reality that both countries get to face: one in which the US has the lowest foreign troop deployment since before WW1, it keeps a carrier on station in the Gulf less than 6 months out of the year, and increasingly is energy independent and has no strategic incentives to keep sacrificing its own economy by allowing international risk free shipping to exist.

That last one is important. We only ever were the ocean police because doing so was a bribe to get the rest of the world to fight the Soviets. Since the 90s, this system has served no purpose to the US, and only existed via inertia. We are the least integrated economy on the planet in terms of GDP, and the only first world country that will have a consumption base in the coming decades. The US has collectively decided to take their ball and go home, and now everyone has to figure out their own security arrangements in a world where taking what you want is suddenly an option again.
