Damn. The US left have instantly become cocky as all hell. Floating ideas of tax on unrealized cappy gains and tax on mileage, that puts them further left than liberal hell hole Canada. Or at least equal footing I suppose. The finance minister here in leafland (who has ZERO economic qualifications) proposed ideas about "unlocking" people's savings. In other words she wanted to stick the government's fingers in to everyone's bank accounts. That idea was not popular and she hasn't said a word about it since, thankfully.
