Slow cooker tip!!!: put chicken breasts or thighs in slow cooker, put a package of uncooked mild italian sausage also in cooker. Add diced onions and garlic. Add pepper but skip the salt (the sausage has plenty). Cook on high for four hours, pull apart and mix chicken and sausage together at 3 hour mark. Use this meat alliance for stirfries and noodles and potatoes and sammiches and what have you. It is absolutely delicious.
