Depending on your cards, there are several ways to play.
Doing nothing and living with it the way things are, or taking a proactive stance and doing what you can to change your chemistry within reason. They are both ways to deal with it and make the best of it. There is no one single answer and it's completely fine if someone decides to just live as their gender despite it bothering them, but I don't see any issue with changing your body if you think it will alleviate pain.
The idea that the only way to "deal with it" is to do nothing is defeatist and usually just based on "I don't want you to transition because I don't like it".
