Nah Hinge is weird, I’ve found that what they do is initially show you normal/hot chicks for the first few dozen swipes with some fatties mixed in.

THEN they follow it up with “the fat/ugly zone” and show you all the reject profiles until you’ve hit X on literally every one of these profiles that fall within your filters. It’s really annoying and can take 15-20min of straight X’ing to get to the normal chicks.

But once you get through the swamp of uggos, you finally land in the normal zone where you see 5’s and up.

The thing is once you’ve swiped through all the reject profiles, if you widen your filters just a LITTLE bit (ie raise height limit, increase radius) you’re STRAIGHT back to the swamp of uggos and you need to X a bunch more all over again.
