It's alright when companies are small enough that they can't try to manipulate the system to their own advantage. Except that's what they're doing right now.

When they get big enough they can start demanding special tax breaks that their smaller competitors don't have and also start passing their own legislation to make it tough for competition. Their market advantage becomes the way they can cheat the system, rather than the superiority of their product.
