Curve and Yearn make money on stablecoin liquidity pools, and with high volumes on these and little competition, their interest rates are insane, it's no wonder they are going to take off rapidly. Compound and copycats, Uniswap and copycats, these technologies were all on the drawing board years ago, (Dan friggin Larimer had much of this conceptualized) but now they are up and running.

Aragon has had success (as had Maker) but this is not reflected in the token price. Maker's price will shoot up when ETH's price declines, since MKR will have to be bought to pay the fees on liquidated vaults.

Many of the old 2016-2017 ICOs are still with us: 0x, BAT, MCO (now CRO), but Golem and Augur require scale. I held both but sold them for LINK and ADA this cycle. Golem may never happen, Augur needed DAI, well, there's 1B now, will be a niche toy, it's not replacing Las Vegas.

Some were scams from the start, others it's not quite so certain. SALT? Iconomi?
